Welcome to the Forncetts

The Forncetts are situated about 3 miles West of the A140 at Long Stratton in South Norfolk

There are over 450 households within the hamlets of Forncett St Peter, Forncett St Mary and Forncett End

We currently have four active Churches, namely St. Marys, St. Peters, St. Edmunds and Forncett St Peter Methodists

St. Marys Church had stood unused and vandalised for many years awaiting a new use for the building.
Lately a group of volunteers has come together to try and save the building, and have made it watertight and provide toilet facilities. In 2015 the Church was used for a local wedding and has been used` for concerts.

Forncett is home to 2 museums, Forncett Steam Museum and The Norfolk Tank Museum. The Tank Museum is home to a World War 1 tank recently featured in the TV program with Guy Martin, where they built a tank and transported it to France.
